What's Been Goin' On...

This year, Halloween was one of the saddest days ever. I cried a lot. I am a baby. I knew it was the last time I'd be with my family and friends for Halloween.. at least for a while. I knew I'd have to say goodbye to my neighbors and of course, my house. It's been hard and I knew it would be.. but the kids and the babies are off schedule and don't fully get what's going on yet. Millie keeps asking me when we're going to go home. But...... our new neighborhood and home are perfect. We love where we are and we know we're supposed to be here right now. It's beautiful and w.a.r.m. and the people of Santa Clara are super nice to us. :)

Emtpy House. sad.

saying goodbye to best buddies

Halloween party at school on last day at Edgemont

More goodbyes to our favorite neighbors

Trunk or Treat.. don't I look so happy?

Millie's favorite person in the whole world.. her babysitter, Bryanna

Driving away from our cul de sac for the last time.. bawling..

Our moving truck pulling up to our new house!

Overwhelmed?

Grandpa Dave to the rescue

Gourmet meal out on the patio.. (still needs lots of work.. don't mind the high chair and wreath in the background)

The new homestead. Love it.

This made me cry. I feel for you - and I never had a great neighborhood to leave behind. It's so weird being away from everyone.

I did cry the other day when my mom emailed me after she left your house and told me there were about 75 kids on your street. I literally closed my laptop, laid my head on the counter and bawled because I live on the lamest street in Boise!!! Your house is so beautiful, I can't wait to see what you do with it. Love your costume and Grandpa Dave with the snugglie on. That makes me cry, too!

Oh, Haley, what a wonderful post. The photos of your two kiddies in the red chairs should be a poster for something. I love it. The new house looks...different. I hope you will post photo's soon.

Pam says the cul-de-sac is weird and empty. I know you will bless people's lives down there as you did her. May God bless you every single day.

So sad. I'm glad you didn't have to wait in limbo too long and are in your home. Congrats. After the overwhelming feeling is gone, looks like it could be fun. Look forward to seeing your family soon.

Ever since I found your blog through NieNie's I have followed it. I loved the first post about the clueless lady in the park. but I love seeing the creativity in your photography and the blessing of having 5 so young! God bless you on your new journey. Please tell who built that house. Love it. Also,I have the nicest friend who lives in St. George. Who knows she may even be in your ward. Wish there was a way you guys could meet. Courtney

Must be the pregnancy hormones, but I started crying reading your post. It's so sad to say goodbye to friends and loved ones. Then like Anne Marie, I stopped crying and feeling bad for you because your new home is so gorgeous! ;) I love that Jaime cried, not for you, but for her lame neighborhood. I love our friends!

Hi Haley, so sorry to bug you about this here, but I don't trust facebook. I need a good printer for a 2 sided christmas card. I tried snelsons, and they came out really bad! I loved you little thanksgiving card and wondered if you would share with me who printed those for you. I had my best friends hubby design them for me, so I need to tell him where to send them. If you wouldn't mind sharing, I would really appreciate it. Thanks a ton -Alli Hunter
