MILLIE 'N ME: On the Floor

You know those days where you just want to lay on the floor and let the kids do WHATEVER and hope for the best? Well, the boys went downstairs and Millie and I chilled upstairs... My camera was out and so what the heck, let's snap a few.

p.s. the boys played nice, no disasters, no fights, just a few smashed lucky charms in the carpet.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Part II

Here are a few more rooms that were "made over." Will's bedroom and our family/dining rooms.

So Anne made the cutest ever felt pillow on Will's bed.. I modge podged pages from a Dr. Seuss book on to canvas and hung those on the wall... Anne found the orange rug at Crate and Barrell and the mini chairs were on clearance ($9.99) at Bed, Bath and Beyond.

La La La La Lola

I've always loved the name Lola and I love it even more now that I've met this cutie - in my mind, she is exactly what a Lola should look like.

EXTREME MAKEOVER: Home Edition

"Where has Haley been?" you may have asked yourself... but probably not, which is fine - however, I will answer the un-asked question you have been dying to know the answer to... I have been HOME. Yes, home. I have been home tearing my house apart from top to bottom. I have been painting and texturizing and recovering furniture and nailing and taping and hanging and trying to keep my family fed and business run all at the same time. In return, the blog has been neglected. My BFF Anne Marie is an amazing woman who knows her paint and fabrics and happily helped me transform my lovely home into an even lovlier home. Here are a few snapshots, (although we are not completely finished.)

My fabulously brown and green living room! So rich and warm - I wish I had before and afters!

Millie's blue and red "Moulin Rouge-ish" room is my FAV! Anne handcrafted her awesome chandelier and covered her closet doors in red fabric...
