Bethany & Dewey: Married

These two got pretty lucky and nabbed the last warm day before winter decided to return. It was a completely perfect day in every way... and I only made a fool of myself 4 or 5 times as I was rolling around on the ground, in a dress, 6 1/2 months pregnant with twins trying to get that perfect shot. :)

Because I love her...

I have this friend who I like to make special exceptions for.. you know, I like to break my rules for her. She knows what I mean. There are always those people that you move to top priority and she's one of those.

A Good Day for Millie

Today was Millie's first official Tea Party.. (thanks to Sybrowsky cousins) - She couldn't have been more excited. She told me I didn't have to stay.. (I don't think I had a choice) ...so I left. She's growing up and it's exciting and sad and terrifying and awesome all at the same time.

I've had this magical list floating around my house for a few years now and decided it was time to share what it says because I believe we all need these little reminders.

8 "Resolutions" Every Mom Should Make

1. I will embrace the fact that I am not perfect.

2. I will get down on the floor and play with my child(ren) every day.

3. I will take care of my body.

4. I will learn to love the chaos.

5. I will make family dinner a priority.

6. I will focus a little more on my marriage.

7. I will make time for my friends.

8. I will remind myself daily that time with my children is precious.

Bethany: Bridals

Funny story... Bethany emails me one day and says "where are we meeting for my bridals today?" I look at the calendar and realize that her bridals are actually scheduled for the FOLLOWING day.. I call her and say, "tomorrow is the big bridal day, dear" - She gets really nervous and says, "I just finished getting my hair done and I have my bouquet and we are on our way down there and what should we do?!" Turns out... it was meant to be.. we made it work for that day and being spontaneous paid off. Her bridals were one of my favorite shoots ever! Yay for messed up schedules!
