Happy Nie Day! Bid on a Session!

In honor of our lovely Stephanie and Christian Nielsen, I am auctioning off a photo session with me, (any type of session: family, engagements, bridals, baby, children, you name it) including a 16x20 mounted wall portrait. The session will be held in November and all the $ raised for the session will go to Stephanie and Christian's recovery fund. Their bills will be into the millions and they will continue to need our help, love and support. I will keep this auction open until Sunday @ midnight.. please bid.. we will have an awesome, dang fun session - Nie would want it that way! Just leave a the dollar amount you'd like to bid in the comments along with your email address - I am starting the bidding at $25.. seriously. I will be in touch with the winning bidder after the auction is closed - the winner will be required to send payment to Stephanie and Christian's paypal account and then forward me the receipt. :)

In celebration of "Nie Day" tomorrow, I will be auctioning off my last photo session of the year, to be held in November. A sweet friend who had the session scheduled, contacted me to say she would give up her session and donate the $ to the Nielson's recovery fund. Little Miss M.C's Bridals

This little lady is gorgeous and S.M.A.R.T.. she chose the library for pics because she loves books (she's an English Major) and I'm glad she did. It was so fun distracting the library patrons and climbing around finding good marriage books. p.s. Katie & Colby Groomals: La Jolla Cove

We took these pics the night before Katie & Colby tied the knot in the San Diego Temple.. we were SO careful with her dress and I think it survived the sand and dirt and mud and water because it still looked great the next day. I have to say THANK YOU to my fabulous mother who traveled with me and helped with all the details.. she also nursed me back to health after a MEAN sinus infection hit me right before we left for Cali.. (anyone ever flown with a sinus infection? ouch)

Jeff & Sarah: Sneak Peak

Have I mentioned how much I love the Provo Temple? Maybe I have 1 or 2 times, but let me say it again.. I LOVE the Provo Temple.. and I love Jeff and Sarah for being so cool and getting married here. They were always cool but now they are ultra cool for choosing this temple. Their wedding day was HOT and then it poured. poured. poured. I love rain... except for when you're trying to take group pics in it.

Off to the Beach

I will be out of town from Aug. 14-18th shooting a wedding in the lovely San Diego.. I will have my cell phone for any e.m.e.r.g.e.n.c.i.e.s. :) Have a fabulous weekend.

Kirstyn and Jakob.. a few things you should know about them.. Kirstyn teaches Ballroom Dance @ BYU and has a 20" waist... Jakob is the most down to earth guy ever and works with his dad running their outdoor equipment family biz.. I love hard working, talented, smart people. So naturally I love these two..
